I get it!! You want to shed that unnecessary 30 pounds and 6 inches off the waist line. Just like anything great, it happens with time. Even though you may have one main goal in mind for getting in shape, set smaller two-week benchmark goals for yourself.

For example:

  • Don’t miss a single training session for two weeks
  • Follow your nutrition plan with no deviations for 14 days
  • Show up seven minutes early to do your warm for two weeks

Find little ways to celebrate meeting your benchmarks on the way to achieving your main goal. Buy a new workout outfit, go dancing with friends, get a massage, etc. These little bench marks help you stay on that “yellow brick road” to a successful, healthy lifestyle.
