TIP OF THE WEEK
Within our fast paced society, there seems to be a shortage of time. I get it, I really do. Take the kid/s to school, rush to work, pressure to keep performance up at work, rush to pick the kid/s up, run the kid/s to sports practice, the grocery store, pick the kid/s up, cook dinner, homework, showers, bedtime stories…and to repeat the same thing the next day. So when do you have time to work out in all this madness?
The nice thing about the human body is you don’t need machines or weights to get in a good workout. You can use your own bodyweight as a form of resistance training. The hardest part is getting started. Mr. Isaac Newton says it best,
“Newton’s first law of motion – sometimes referred to as the law of inertia. An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”
Here are four great exercises to get you moving and keep you moving. The best part, they take a few minutes to do and require no equipment.
- Bodyweight Squats
